Merry Christmas to all of Us…… Nick is coming to town!!!! Let the celebrating begin, finally!
I hope he talks too, or just stands there and smiles, or just keeps turning in circles, wearing his censored bathing suit!
Ok, I am getting out of control as ususal.

According to Oprah’s website, he’s gonna touch bases on his public divorce, his life right now, and the new cd.
This song was written by Diane Warren, gawd I hope it’s not a ballad….*keeping my fingers crossed*.

Mocha, I agree with you. I hope he does something besides a ballad also but if it’s written by Diane Warren and from the name of the song, sounds like it probably will be a ballad. I hope when Nick’s on Oprah that they don’t focus much on his divorce. It’s been so long ago, I bet Nick would much rather talk about something else. I am anxious to hear about his life now and his new cd though. I’m so glad Nick is back.

Lorm, that’s the same thing I was thinking, but coming from Diane, I bet money it’s a ballad. I don’t mind a ballad, but Nick already has a reputation for being too sappy(which is what I find attractive about him, too many men “act” too macho and are not in touch with their emotions), at least I hope it’s mid-tempo.
Also, I wish they didn’t focus on the divorce at all! I’m sick to death of hearing about it, it’s been 2 years, let it rest. He’s done sooo many things since the divorce, baseball team, restaurant, and now the new cd, I just think there’s other things that can be focused on besides that damn divorce.
I bet the divorce will get more recognition/time than the new cd he has coming out.

I’m soo happy I was completely wrong about the interview….what are your thoughts about the song?

I liked the song. The interview was good but I wish it had been longer. Nick looked really good and he interviews so well.

By the way, I agree that it’s time for Nick to highlight a more upbeat tune. Sometimes when I hear The Fray I think, gee, Nick could be doing THAT song, too (or one like it). But of course “our Nick” has a sensitive side that has served him well with his previous album.

Yay, welcome back MB!! It’s so good to be back among friends!
Lorm, I agree..he looked delicious as usual, I even like the added weight. He is such a gorgeous man. Can we just move on already. If J’s name never got mentioned with his again, it would make me happy. Vanessa, you are the best thing that has happened to him, besides all of us…l
Ok, princy, I saw your cute post on Nick and laughed about how you apologized for your name!!
Come back everyone..lets get this site hopping again!!! Nick Lachey is anything but Ordinary, but LOVED hearing him sing the song, and I loved the song. No one could have done it better!!

Maybe I’m by myself BUT I really didn’t like that song - I’m hoping it’s NOT on his new CD…
- especially when he had to repeat “WITH YOU - WITH YOU” - (reminded me of guess who?)
Yeah he’s looking a little pudgy but scrumptious! ! ! !
Loved the ‘too short’ interview..
LNL - do you have BRAVO? they’re repeating the tree lighing this weekend…(so I read somewhere)

Princy, you are not alone as usual…I too didn’t care for the song…it’s too “WLOM”.
I don’t think it will be on his new album(at least I hope not), I heard the song was written and is strictly for Oprah’s movie.
He needs to step away from the ballads this time around, he already gets a bad rep for being too sappy, I just don’t want him to make a bad career move.
Maggi, I’m gonna let you have your comment about “his shadow” being the best thing that’s ever happened to him………this time anyway…LOL!
His face is so pudgy, I love the cheeks….LOL!
He looked good, loved his suit.

Maybe the ballad was the kind of song someone wanted as the theme for the movie (that Oprah is producing? Did I get that correct?) Maybe he didn’t have any control over the song but the producers wanted him to sing the theme song of their movie, which is an honor for him; but I agree with those of you who are somewhat tired of the same kind of ballad from him. I have Bravo on my DirecTV satellite dish and I will be watching the repeat show. I am going to program it right now so I don’t forget.

Yeah Ordinary Day is for the movie, and Diane and Oprah hand picked Nick to sing that song.
I was stating I hope he doesn’t decide to put it on the new album and drop it as a single. Personally I love the ballads(even though I don’t care for this song), but I get tired of people complaining about it, and calling him sappy.
I love that Nick is able to show his emotions, a lot of men don’t……he’s manly and sensitive, which I love about him.

Hey Team Lachey,
Did anyone watch that movie last night? How was Nick singing??? I wanted to hear the song done from the recording studio….(forgot to record - must be getting old) ha!
Team Lachey - Have a Great Day! ! !

Princy, I watched the movie last night and Nick’s song wasn’t in it. I thought they would play Nick’s song at the end during the credits but they didn’t. I was disappointed. I guess we’ll just have to wait until Dec 18th and download it from itunes.

Thanks lorm23, I had a feeling that would happen….

Why would Oprah have Nick come on her show to sing the song from the movie and then the song is never heard before, during the movie or during the credits at the end? Doesn’t make sense does it? Maybe if the movie went to DVD but does a TV movie go to DVD? You know who else I like? Grant Show. At least when he was in the movies “Ice” and in “Sex and the Single Mom” and “More Sex and the Single Mom”. Those movies were just replayed for the 100th time this weekend. I’ve seen them so many times, but there I went and watched them again. I could see Nick doing Lifetime movies (women would love seeing him) but maybe he doesn’t find that too cool to do.
